The game of Poker is played with a 52-card deck. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. One can be a pro in Poker, but when the cards are dealt luck is the same for everybody. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. To stay into the game every player has to call. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. You can hold or throw away as many cards as you like. The cards which were thrown away will be replaced with the same number of cards. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
