A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. It is pretty much a game of chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. To stay into the game every player has to call. Then you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which to discard. If you have good cards you can hold all of them, if you have bad cards you can throw away all of them as well. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.
