A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. It is pretty much a game of chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. You have to read the table with the minimum and maximum bets before you play Poker. You can find this table next to the dealer. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. Then you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which to discard. You can hold or throw away as many cards as you like. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
