The main feature of shared games is the community cards, which are common for all players at the table. To form their hands all players can use these community cards. 2 cards are dealt face down to each player in Texas Holdem. 5 more cards are dealt face down on the table. They are called community cards. After the deal there is a betting round, after which three community cards are turned up. One more betting round follows. Then the dealer turns up one more community card and players make bets. The last card is flipped, a final round if betting ensues, and finally a showdown in which players make their best hands using their two pocket cards and the table's five shared cards. The winner is the player with the highest hand.
