Poker is played all over the world It combines principles of card games known hundreds of years ago in Europe and probably long before that in the Orient, but in its present form it is distinctly of American origin. Nowadays there are exist many poker variations, but there are not many differences between them. The principle of the game is the same for all poker variations. A person who has learned these principles can play without difficulty in any game. Poker is a game of betting and card combinations. In most cases, best hand contains the five highest-ranking cards, but what is considered the best hand can vary in some types of Poker. In a High/Low Poker game, two players have the opportunity to win and split the pot. Both the player with the highest hand and the player with the lowest hand are winners. The bets made by the players are added to the pot, which is situated in the center of the table. If you don’t want to meet the highest bet by some other player you can’t compete for the pot. Because of this rule, players are able to bluff and win the pot. The object of the game is to win the pot. A player can win the pot in one of the two ways. After making all the bets there is a showdown. The winner is the player with the strongest hand. The player can make a very high bet, which will not be supported by other players. In this case other players have to fold and the player with the high bet is the winner without showing his cards. All cards of the 52 card deck are used. Each player receives one cards at a time. The cards are dealt clockwise. Aces are high, but aces rank low in the sequence A-2-3-4-5. Computer American Poker Principle.
