Shared Card Games (Texas Holdem) include all games with community cards, which are common for all players at the table. To form their hands all players can use these community cards. When playing Texas Holdem each player receives 2 cards face down. 5 down cards dealt on the table are called community cards. A round of betting is held after the deal and three of the table cards are turned up. Then there is one more betting round. Then the dealer turns up one more community card and players make bets. The last card is flipped, a final round if betting ensues, and finally a showdown in which players make their best hands using their two pocket cards and the table's five shared cards. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.
